Professor Tamara Ownsworth is a clinical neuropsychologist with over 20 years of clinical and research experience in the brain injury field. She is based in the School of Applied Psychology and Menzies Health Institute of Queensland at Griffith University, and is a Chief Investigator in the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Brain Recovery. She leads a program of research on the psychosocial effects of brain injury and the efficacy of rehabilitation. She is particularly interested in the use of telehealth platforms for improving access to specialist rehabilitation services in the community.

Her talk in the Panel Session will initially describe the existing evidence base for telehealth interventions after brain injury. She will then discuss research on clinician and client perspectives on the use of telehealth platforms for delivering community-based brain injury rehabilitation in a statewide context.
